National Express is the market leader in the West Midlands - the largest urban bus market outside of London. Services are operated from nine garages across the region. In addition we run urban bus services in the city of Coventry - as National Express Coventry.

National Express Transport Solutions (NXTS) was formed in July 2020, bringing together two leading UK coach hire brands - Lucketts Group and The Kings Ferry Group.

NXTS offers a comprehensive range of transport solutions for all types of requirements, from the private hire for leisure and events, through to corporate travel solutions, commuter services, and employee shuttles. The business also provides accessible transport services.

The business has a strong operational presences in the South and South East of England and the West Midlands, with a platform of partner operators across the UK which can deliver a consistent level of service nationally.

National Express Ireland entered the Irish market in March 2020 with a plan to play a major role in Ireland’s public transport sector.

Dublin Express' initial service between Dublin Airport and Dublin City quickly established itself as the largest operator of high frequency shuttle services providing a quick and comfortable transport alternative to Dublin City Centre. Since then it has continued to expand its services in Ireland with new routes and partnerships.

In 2023, Dublin Express launched its first intercity route connecting Dublin and Belfast, two of Ireland’s largest cities. The service caters for both local and international travellers as it serves Dublin Airport via Dublin City. 2023 also saw Dublin Express crowned as the Dublin Airport Operator of the Year. 

2024 saw the launch of the Rail2Air partnership with Irish Rail, connecting Ireland’s railway network to Dublin Airport for the first time with fast and frequent coaches serving Dublin’s train stations. During the year a new route to South Dublin was also introduced. As part of its continued commitment to sustainable transport options, Dublin Express has also become the first privately owned transport operator in Ireland to convert to HVO across all its Dublin fleet. The fuel can reduce carbon emissions by up to 90%.
