Simon is Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Mobico Group, a position he has held since June 2022. Prior to this, Simon was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at William Hill Plc between March 2020 and June 2022 where he dealt with the takeover of that company by Caesars Entertainment, Inc and led on the subsequent sale of William Hill's ex US business to 888 Plc. Between April 2017 and January 2020 Simon was the General Counsel, Company Secretary and Chief of Staff at Superdry Plc.
Simon started his career at city law firm Dentons and has held senior in-house legal roles since 1995 with Ernst & Young, Willis Towers Watson, Equifax and Addleshaw Goddard. Whilst at Willis Towers Watson he also held a European Chief Operating Officer role. Alongside broad business and operational experience Simon's legal experience covers commercial contracting, M&A, litigation and insurance, risk management and compliance, regulatory relationships, corporate governance and issues relating to listed companies both in the UK and elsewhere.
