Spanish mobility company Alsa, part of Mobico Group, has been awarded the “Green Muevete Award 2024” by the Municipal Transport Company of Madrid in the Improving Customer Experience in Transport category.

This is the 18th year of the “Muevete Verde” awards which recognize the very best initiatives that deliver a positive impact on sustainable urban mobility in the city of Madrid.

The Green Muevete Award 2024 was presented to Alsa for its “#TuNosMueves_Madrid” project which focused on transforming the customer experience for people with disabilities when traveling by bus.

Alsa is working to provide 100% accessible and inclusive intercity bus services for all passengers. This includes before traveling interactions including accessing information and accessible vending machines, a specific information helpline, and support when boarding vehicles and arriving at destinations.

Alsa operates a fleet of 485 buses within the public transport system of the Regional Transport Consortium.
