Mobico Group is partnering with Mental Health UK to support the business to build on its current wellbeing foundations and encourage a more coordinated and holistic approach to self-care at its businesses across 12 countries worldwide.
Under its ‘Be Well’ banner, Mobico is adopting a global approach to connecting, sharing, celebrating, and focusing on wellbeing, driven by local approaches that reflect the diversity and inclusivity of the group’s locations and communities.
Mobico Group Executive Director and CEO of the group’s WeDriveU business, Erick Van Wagenen, is sponsoring ‘Be Well’. He said: “Our aim is to really energise our people by providing a supportive and open workplace that puts wellbeing and mental health at its core.”
“We know that our divisions do some excellent things in their businesses, so what we’re collectively going to focus on is learning from each other, sharing ideas and putting the principles into practice. We are delighted to partner with Mental Health UK which will provide us with global support, advice, and insights as we develop our ‘Be Well’ approach.”
Brian Dow, Chief Executive, Mental Health UK, said: “We are delighted to be launching our new partnership with Mobico Group and supporting the ‘Be Well’ initiative. We are committed to going above and beyond for the Mobico Group employees and Mental Health UK beneficiaries as we continue striving to ensure that everyone has the tools they need to live their best possible lives across the UK.”
‘Be Well’ is underpinned by the Group’s Wellbeing Strategy, Health, Safety and Wellbeing policy, and its new Global Safety Standard for Wellbeing, which businesses are now working to deliver, building on initiatives and activities already underway, encouraging shared learning and ensuring consistency.
Mobico Group has introduced training for leaders and employees. It is launching an ambassador programme and will deliver a programme of content and activities to support employees to focus on their personal mental, physical, and social wellbeing.
