At Mobico Group, we recognise the importance of wellbeing and are working to create a supportive and open culture that puts wellbeing and mental health at its core and helps our people feel better, stronger, and more positive.
We want our colleagues to feel engaged, energised and supported at work and provide them with the right tools to support them outside of work.
We know that embedding wellbeing into all aspects of our employees’ experience means that colleagues can thrive at work and at home.
Our ‘Be Well’ strategy
Our ‘Be Well’ approach to wellbeing has three pillars: mental, physical, and social. ‘Be Well’ prioritises the wellbeing of our employees and connects us across the group. We recognise how important wellbeing is and that as a responsible business, our focus on employee wellbeing is the right thing to do.
Through ‘Be Well’, we are encouraging colleagues to get involved in our activities, access wellbeing resources and training, and share ideas and great practice from across our businesses. We join up across our group at key dates during the year to ensure that wellbeing has a global focus and platform.
‘Be Well’:
- is part of our People Strategy and is underpinned by our Wellbeing Strategy, our Heath, Safety and Wellbeing Policy, our Global Safety Standard for Wellbeing
- is championed at the top of the business by our CEO and our divisional leaders
- aims to help our colleagues make positive changes to improve their mental, physical, and emotional health and ensure they have support when they need it.
Our partnership with Mental Health UK
We are partnered with the charity Mental Health UK which provides us with the right support, knowledge, insight, ideas, and practical help as we continue to develop our wellbeing approach. Mental Health UK is the charity for everyone’s mental health. It exists to challenge the causes of poor mental health and give people the tools they need to live their best possible lives at home.
Making wellbeing part of our everyday
Mobico Group has introduced training and development at leadership level and is rolling out further to line manager level to ensure our managers have access to the right tools and resources to help them in developing a culture of wellbeing.
We are also recruiting ambassadors who will be invited to training sessions to help them support and foster wellbeing initiatives and events. These courses are dedicated to ambassadors and are being provided by Mental Health UK.
A message from the CEO:
At Mobico Group, we recognise that a thriving workplace is rooted in the health, happiness, and support of the people who make our company what it is.
Our ‘Be Well’ approach brings together the efforts of all our businesses across our three wellbeing pillars: mental, physical, and social. Together we are learning from one another using the size and scale of our business, our diverse approaches and best practices.
Importantly, ‘Be Well’ is underpinned by our Health, Safety and Wellbeing policy, and our new Global Safety Standard for Wellbeing, which businesses are now working to deliver, building on initiatives and activities already underway, encouraging shared learning and ensuring consistency.
I am delighted that this year we have launched our partnership with Mental Health UK, which will provide us with the right support, knowledge, insight, ideas, and practical help as we continue to develop our wellbeing approach.
At Mobico Group, we are working to ensure that wellbeing is at the heart of our business. We are deeply committed to fostering an environment where all three are prioritised. By increasingly providing a range of resources, support, and a culture of openness, our aim is for our people to feel better, stronger, and more positive each day.
